Conditions of Use

These Conditions of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of monumentplanet.com and the Monument Planet dealer portal at portal.monumentplanet.com(together, the "Site"), operated by Monument Planet, a division of Slab Planet LLC ("Monument Planet," "we," "our," or "us"). By accessing the Site, applying for a dealer account, or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.

1. Wholesale, Trade-Only Business

Monument Planet sells exclusively to monument dealers, memorial companies, funeral homes, cemeteries, and other qualified trade buyers. We do not sell monuments directly to individual consumers. Dealer accounts are subject to review and approval, and we may decline or suspend an account at our discretion.

2. Pricing and Availability

Wholesale pricing is available only to approved dealers through the dealer portal and is subject to change without notice. Prices displayed at the time an order is confirmed are the prices that apply to that order. Stock availability, lead times, and estimated ship dates shown on the Site are estimates and not guarantees.

3. Orders and Custom Manufacturing

Orders are confirmed only once accepted by Monument Planet. Custom-manufactured orders (non-standard sizes, cuts, colors, or finishes) may require minimum quantities, longer lead times, and are generally non-cancelable once production has begun. It is the dealer's responsibility to confirm order specifications, engraving layouts, and delivery details before an order enters production.

4. Shipping, Delivery, and Risk of Loss

Delivery windows, freight routing, and transit times shown on the Site (including the order tracking pages) are estimates and may be affected by factors outside our control, such as customs processing, port congestion, or carrier delays. Dealers are responsible for inspecting shipments at delivery and documenting any visible damage before signing the delivery receipt. Risk of loss passes as described in the order confirmation or applicable freight terms.

5. Order Tracking Pages

The order tracking pages at monumentplanet.com/track are provided for informational purposes to help dealers and their customers follow the general status of an order. Tracking information is based on the best data available to us at the time and may not reflect real-time conditions.

6. Payment Terms

Payment methods and terms are established when a dealer account is opened and may vary based on account history. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment in full is due before an order ships. We reserve the right to withhold shipment of any order until payment is received.

7. Returns and Replacements

We stand behind the quality of our granite. If a monument arrives damaged, defective, or does not match the confirmed order specifications, contact us promptly so we can review the issue and determine an appropriate resolution, which may include repair, replacement, or credit. We do not accept returns of correctly manufactured custom orders for reasons unrelated to damage or manufacturing error.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site, including text, images, product photography, and design, is owned by or licensed to Monument Planet and may not be copied, reproduced, or used commercially without our prior written consent, except as reasonably necessary for a dealer to market monuments purchased from us.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Site and the information on it (including pricing, availability, and order tracking status) are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, except as expressly stated in a written order confirmation or applicable law.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Monument Planet will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or related to use of the Site or any order, and our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount paid for the order giving rise to the claim.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to its conflict of laws principles, and any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in New Jersey.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with the effective date noted above, and continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
